上相•一期一器｜每件石器作品，都應該是一件「開啓」裝置~
本期分享器物：上相 2016-置物盘-天罗绿
我們對於石的認識，實在是知之甚少。
So little do we know about stone.
石頭於很多人而言，不過是腳下的一塊雜物，不過是房屋的一處片角，人們鮮少去與它對視，同它交談，自然也便看不到它背後所深藏的一個精深廣博的文化。
For many people,stone is just a piece of sundry matter under their feet and a small part at the corner of the house. People seldom look at it and talk to it. Naturally, they can not see a profound and extensive culture behind it.
石的出現，早在這個世界形成之前。而自它開始進入人們的生活之後，就憑著它那持久悠長的生命力，在百萬年來，一直記錄著這個世界的更迭與盛衰。
It is before the formation of this world that stone had made its presence.And ever since it started to get involved in people’s life,it has been recording the changes,rise and fall of this world for millions of years by its durable life.
但是我們也清楚地認識到，石頭百年不壞，千年不損的材質，雖然可以成為歲月的見證，卻也只是決定了一件器物的長度，而沒有辦法確定它的厚度與溫度。
However,we also clearly recognize that stone,a kind of material which is as durable as thousands of years,though it can be the witness of years,it merely determine the length of a utensil but not its thickness and warmth.
於是我們一直在探求它內在的故事和氣質，我們一直都在渴望翻譯出它的語言，將那從崇武古城開始至今的一千六百多年的歷史，悉數展現在人們眼前，讓人們可以憑藉一件器物，而知曉一段歷史，懂得一種文化，認同一類精神。
So we have been exploring its inner stories and temperament;we have been eager to translate its language.The history of more than 1,600 years from the beginning of Chongwu Ancient City to now is fully displayed in front of people,so that they can learn a piece of history,understand a kind of culture and recognize a kind of spirit through a utensil.
正如季羨林說的那樣，「人生的價值和意義在於對人類歷史發展的承上啓下、承前啓後。」石的價值同樣如此，它在以前世之姿態，行今世之責任，以啓昭昭來路。
As Ji Xianlin said:"The value and significance of life lies in connecting the past and the future in the development of human history."So is the value of stone.It exercises the responsibility of the present in the posture of the past so as to open the road to future.
於是這樣的石器作品，便成為了一件「開啓」裝置，將過去一千六百多年的古老語言統統翻譯出來，同樣，也為傳統工藝在未來開創了一種無限的可能。
Then such a stone work has been an"opening"device,which translates all the old languages of the past 1,600 years and opens up an infinite possibility for traditional craftsmanship in the future as well.
我們在盡力講好一段歷史，讓每一件器物變得厚重豐盈，足以擋來路風雨，竭力地推動它走向未來的生活哲學與美學……
We are trying our best to tell a piece of history well,to make each utensil thick and full enough to shield the winds and rains on the coming road and achieve life philosophy and aesthetics in the future.. .
And that’s why each of us,unconsciously,is approaching the characters described by Mr.Ji.We record the history and look at present just as a stone does and are committed to pushing our national culture to further future.
