上相•一期一器｜兩件石器之間……

本期分享器物：上相 2017-生活+ - 简入 -收纳器皿

經常會有人來問我們這類問題：“上相的石器和其他的石器有什麼不同？上相的同一款石器之間又是否完全一樣？”

We were often asked such questions as:"What is the difference between SHANGXIANG’s stone utensils and others?Are SHANGXIANG stone utensils of the same style completely the same?"

面對諸如此類的問題，不論是世事如何變幻，我們的答案卻始終如一：它們之間，除了共同被冠以“石器”之名之外，便再沒有什麼相同之處。可以說，每一件石器都有它自己的秉性和骨骼，每一件石器都在時光的關照下，形成了自己獨一無二的樣子。

Faced with questions of the sort,our answer remains the same no matter how the world changes:there is no more similarity between them except that they are both addressed as"stone utensil".We can say that each stone utensil has its nature and feature,and thus each of them has formed its unique look with time passing by.

這份獨一無二，來源於它自身的材質。

And this uniqueness origins from its own material.

每一塊石頭在形成的過程中，本身就絕不會有兩寸相同的肌理，正如這個世界沒有完全一樣樹葉，這個世界也自然沒有完全一樣的石頭。在那些我們肉眼不易察覺的地方，往往都藏著一份大自然的巧奪天工。

There are no totally similar leaves in the world,likewise,there are no exactly the same stones.During the formation process of each stone,the same texture cannot be found within two inches.In places where are invisible to the naked eye, there is often a wonderful work of nature.

而這份獨一無二，同時也來源於工匠師的溫度與情感。

Such uniqueness also comes from the temperature and emotions of craftsmen.

石器並非是流水生產，而是每一位工匠師的認真打磨，這便自然決定了它的獨特。甚至即便是同一位工匠師的製作，兩件石器本身絕也不會完全一樣。工匠師每時每刻的狀態和思想在變換，情感在通過指尖遊走，那麼石器便自然也因此得到了獨特的生命。

Stone utensils are not manufactured by assembly lines but by careful polishing of craftsmen,which naturally determines its uniqueness.Even if two utensils created by the same craftsman cannot be exactly the same.Because the state and thoughts of the craftsman shit all the time,so does his emotions, stone utensils get unique lives naturally.

更何況，這些石器終將會遇見不一樣的使用者，如此，也便會有一個完全不一樣的未來。它們會記錄著使用者的生活點滴，帶著使用者的精神氣質，與使用者同呼吸，共感受，不論是在那些庸常還是飛舞的時辰。

Moreover,these stone utensils will meet different users,thus they will have completely different futures.They will record the user’s life bit by bit,with the user's spiritual temperament,they share the same fate with him,whether in his ordinary or extraordinary moments .

而這些，人也如是。

And all these are also true for man.

克萊爾·麥克福爾說：“每一個靈魂都是獨特的，都有各自的美德和過錯。”我們在這焦慮盛行的時代，似乎太過在意別人的生活和眼光，卻從未認真地審視自己。

Claire Mcfall remarked:"Each soul is unique, with its own virtues and faults."In this times when anxieties prevail,we seem to care too much about others’ life and views,but we have never examined ourselves seriously.

殊不知，每個人的生活都各有其軌跡，我們都如這些石器一樣，看似相似，實則迥然。別為了循著別人的足跡而丟了自己的獨特。

What we hardly realized is that everyone has his own trails in his life.We are the same as these stone utensils-we look similar,however,greatly different essentially.Don’t lose your own uniqueness to follow others’ trails.
