Five Minutes

One day, Huihui scanned a QR code while shopping and accidentally got a test

function to experience AI predicting events within the next five minutes. When AI

predicted that she would get wet, it was still sunny outside. However, as soon as she

walked out, she was knocked down by another girl and her drink spilled all over her.

Gradually, she began to believe AI’s predictions. When AI told her that she would be

beaten, she looked around nervously, but found that it was just her friend who patted

her. As the incident developed -from her worrying about passers-by getting hurt to

worrying about an explosion in the apartment -each AI prediction wasa relatively

vague information, which eventually turned into a series of oolong incidents. This

story aims to reveal that AI is a tool rather than a master, and the information it

provides is not always the correct answer. Understanding and judgment are never

completed by algorithms, but require humans to constantly test and correct through

practice and experience in uncertainty. Just as reality is full of a lot of information that

is difficult to distinguish between true and false, the development of technology does

not mean a replacement for judgment, but rather highlights the importance of people

staying awake and acting independently in chaos.
