THE FEATHER MAN · 羽 人

海鸟满地散乱地停歇，漫不经心地围观着羽人的认真。他们说着迁徙途中的传闻，世间有一无所不知的夜魔，若想寻求答案，需前去极地寻他。
其中一只小海鸟怯生生地说，可听说极地是炼狱，夜魔凶狠狰狞，可怕至极，路过的海鸟有去无回！海鸟们闻风丧胆，哗啦一下迅速散去，留下羽人形单影只，孓立岸边看着汪洋深海。
“孤身一人，也没什么可失去的吧？”羽人想着。

The seabirds lived scattered, lazily watching the anxious Feather Man. They said, a man seeking for answers always found it at the Nightdevil’s realm.
“But the border was purgatory and thousands of men died conquering it,” said a little seabird, “and Nightdevil! He was scary and evil. No seabird made it back alive!”
The seabirds were frightened and quickly dispersed. The Feather Man is alone by himself again. He stood there, staring at the sprawling waves.
Well, nothing to lose, right? The Feather Man thought to himself.

在一个星夜里，羽人抵达极地。
极地并非炼狱，而是满天繁星似幻境。
银河泼洒在夜空，海面氤氲雾气升腾，宁静无波倒映群星。远处隐约可见巨大而孤独的身影，似真似幻。
羽人不由失语，冥思着自己寻迹万里的意义。

他苦想着 ，翻过礁石——夜魔就在那里。


The Feather Man reached the Borderland on a starry night.
The Borderland was not purgatory, at all. It looked like a fantasy, or someone’s sweetest dream. Stars scattered across the night sky, with the Milk Way running through the dark canvas. Mist arose from the sea. In the distance, a huge and lonely figure sat.
The Feather Man pondered the purpose of his quest.

He climbed over the rocks and there he was - the Nightdevil.

他们的目光短暂相触。
像被闪电击中一样。羽人意识空白，屏住呼吸。
他的心脏像是停止了，又好像从未如此鲜活地跳动过。

Their eyes met.
As if he was hit by lightning. The Feather Man held his breath.
His heart stopped functioning, or maybe it started beating for the very first time.

破晓时分，属于黑暗的夜魔就会离去。
他们轻轻相拥，互道离别。
他们短暂相遇，一眼万年。
羽人无法呼吸。他如至仙境，又恍如身在地狱，被迫在眉睫的分别压得几乎窒息。
离别的痛苦将他灵魂撕扯粉碎。


The Nightdevil belonged to the night. He would depart at the brink of sunrise.
They hugged gently and bid farewells.
The Feather Man couldn’t breathe.
They were together for a second, sharing a glance of a million years.
As if he were in Heaven and Hell at the same time, overwhelmed by the imminent separation.
He was torn apart by the painful separation.

谢谢你，让我拥有一晚如此美好的回忆 。
