展览前言 

插画，西文统称为（“illustration”插图）；《辞海》解释指插附在书中的图画；拉丁文“illustraio”，意指照亮之意，设计是人类文明“物化”的成果，随着科技及数字媒介的巨大发展，插图设计进入一个黄金期，日益频繁出现在品牌设计、海报、广告、绘本、动画、包装甚至是字体等设计中，插画在为具体环境和客户有目的地完成明确的设计的同时，还有些插画师在独立出版、当代艺术领域也有一席之地。

主题“碳基生命”旨在呼吁今天世界的生态危机，也以此提出一些与人工智能有关的观点。本次展览为《插画》课程中“矢量动物”课题作品成果，希望开启视觉传达设计专业学生设计起始的多维度发展，讨论视觉审美和设计教育的思考，为插画提供设计研究与学术交流的平台。

EXHIBITION PREFACE

Illustration, commonly referred to as "illustration" in Western language; 《Ci Hai》 interprets the pictures attached to the book; The Latin "illustraio" refers to the meaning of illumination. Design is the result of the "materialization" of human civilization. With the great development of technology and digital media, illustration design has entered a golden period and increasingly appears in brand design, posters, advertisements, picture books, animation, packaging and even font design. While illustrators purposefully produce specific designs for specific environments and clients, some illustrators also have a role in independent publishing and contemporary art. The theme "Carbon-based Life" aims to appeal to the ecological crisis in the world today, and also to make some points related to artificial intelligence. This exhibition is the result of the "vector animal" project in the course of Illustration, hoping to open the multi-dimensional development of the design of students majoring in visual communication design, discuss the thoughts of visual aesthetics and design education, and provide a platform for design research and academic exchange of illustration.
