Mokpo木浦｜耶兔兽设计

The project is located in Hangzhou, and the owner is a Korean Oba who loves cooking, and he himself has a nostalgic trait. The theme concept follows the sense of warmth and hierarchy in the space, confirming the modern feeling of "retro classical" from the design. Wooden decorations, curved structures, and warm color materials are continuously reused in the space, combining retro colors with modern design techniques to form a dialogue between new and old, and integrating this into the design, making the entire space atmosphere modern but not cumbersome, simple but full of delicacy.

In order to make people feel the warmth of the Mupu restaurant, we do not need to go through complicated design and decoration in the design principles. In terms of the original outline and architectural structure, we use materials and soft furnishings to collide, and the retro brick walls are paired with coffee colored wood grain decorative panels to enrich the sense of spatial hierarchy. At the same time, it activates the warmth and softness of the space, immersing people in the beauty brought by the materials and lighting themselves.

The radiating central dining area, with a dining table set against the wall and sitting on the edge, is both transparent and partitioned. The multifunctional bar counter cabinet is placed at the core, extending to the entire hall and integrating into the entire space. The experience of outward and inward gathering gathers at this moment. We break the limitations and constraints of rigid storefronts and highlight an independent and warm space within the reach of consumers.

This design specifically uses semi open walls to create a visual experience of internal and external interaction. Within the building, a large amount of space under the eaves is created, with a soothing curved Italian dome that reduces the sense of distance in the space. When people dine, the semi hidden and semi visible space leaves them with a huge space for imagination. Whether enjoying food or checking in, everyone is a participant in this space.

In order to match the natural elements in the restaurant with the architectural style, green plants and chandeliers interact with the line of sight through the half wall, introducing natural light and the exchange of green plants, creating a special emotional atmosphere in the air. Time has left a natural imprint on the building.

Every corner of the space has been carefully designed, from tables and chairs, bars, to Roman sculptures, classical murals, and crystal lamp decorations. In front of the walls filled with time and stories, it is like a bridge connecting movies and reality.
