When Geometry Meets Art

At present, China's mathematics education is facing many problems. For example, emphasize what will be tested, rather than how knowledge comes. Ignore the complementary relationship between mathematics and aesthetics. The way of communication is boring, unintuitive, etc.

I will take geometry as an example to demonstrate my research results and teaching model. I illustrate the basics of angles in mathematical plane geometry into an octagon.

The three primary colors are used to distinguish corners of different sizes, and the specially designed corner labels can help beginners feel the transformation of the corners, and are also friendly to colorblind groups.
