Ideal World Outcome3

When visiting exhibitions of Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, I discovered some elements connected to the theme of an ideal world. People in ancient China pursued their perfect world through statues of Buddha inside Mogao Grottoes. They also depicted on wallpapers the life in the Western Paradise of Buddhism, which was the ideal world for secular citizens. In my work, the person in the middle of the circle is the fairy in the Western Paradise. Hands around her represent citizens who wonder about their ideal world.
