NUTS/果·实

Nut, in my understanding, it can be described as a kind of fruit. While the word “fruit” in Chinese has two meanings: one is the product of plants we eat; the other is the return on the efforts, which is often used to describe spiritual gains. This group of ceramic works was finished in the first half of 2013 when I was studying in Oklahoma as an exchange student. The key idea is to give the dead clay with life. During the cold windy winter in Oklahoma, people saw pinecones and nuts lying on the ground everyday but never pay attention. So I want to make some difference, to let people know that the tiny little things around us could be pretty and useful, to call our attention and to build a better life.

这是大二在美国交换学习的时候陶艺课的作品。算不上什么特别有想法的设计，但是通过制作，让我感受到陶土的语言，以及在捏造、烧制过程中的未知与惊喜。
