在宠物被视为家人的时代，我们却发现了一个巨大的情感矛盾：当这位重要的家庭成员生命走到终点时，社会能为主人提供的关怀却停留在冰冷的“处理”层面。宠物的身后事，要么被草草处理，要么被笼罩在传统殡葬的沉重与阴郁之中。

「栖爱」的创立，源于一个简单的初心：​ 我们相信，告别不应如此潦草与悲伤。每一个生命都值得被庄重纪念，每一份跨越物种的深厚情感，都应当有一个温暖、体面的归宿。我们不是在看管生命的终结，而是在守护一份爱的圆满。
