Rather than a nostalgic reproduction, this body of work operates as a restrained yet deliberate act of deconstruction. Rooted in traditional Chinese folk embroidery, the visual vocabulary is extracted from its original craft context and rearticulated into a flattened, contemporary graphic system. Auspicious beasts, floral motifs, and medallion patterns remain faintly recognizable, yet they no longer function as carriers of blessing or narrative. Instead, they are reorganized into a study of visual order—an exploration of repetition, symmetry, and ornamental logic.
