Luke Powell is a graphic designer recognised for his concept-driven visual storytelling and willingness to explore alternative approaches, materials, processes, and methods within his practice. His work balances experimentation with finely crafted outcomes, drawing upon extensive research and diverse production techniques to transform complex ideas into compelling, impactful design solutions. Before joining Pentagram alongside his brother Jody Hudson-Powell, Luke co-founded the studio Hudson-Powell, known for creatively ambitious, cross-platform work. Luke's work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, and recognised with numerous industry awards, notably for his Channel 4 identity. In 2023, he was elected to the prestigious Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).
