毕业于中央美术学院设计系。荣获多项国际奖项，如 2005年 GDC设计奖全场大奖（深圳）; 2011 GDC设计奖全场大奖（深圳）; 2018 香港设计师协会环球设计大赛金奖、银奖、铜奖（香港）；2016 卡塞尔摄影书节年度摄影书奖（北京）；2009 英国设计与艺术指导协会（ D&AD）两项提名奖（伦敦）；2008 东京字体指导俱乐部（Tokyo TDC） TDC Prize （东京）等，曾担任众多国际设计赛事评审，如 2020 ADC Young Guns 设计大奖评审（纽约）， Award360°年度设计大奖评审（广州），第十届“方正奖”字体设计大赛评审（北京）；GDC设计奖评审（深圳）等。

He graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in design. Guang Yu has received numerous international accolades, including the Grand Prize at 2005 GDC Award; the Grand Prize at 2011 GDC Award; the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards at 2018 HKDA GDA; the Photobook of the Year Award at 2016 Kassel Photobook Festival (Beijing); Shenzhen Graphic Design Biennale (Shenzhen); two nominations at 2009 D&AD Awards (London); and the TDC Prize at 2008 Tokyo Type Directors Club (Tokyo), among others. He has also served as a judge for several major international design competitions, including 2020 ADC Young Guns (New York), Award360° Annual Design Award (Guangzhou), the 10th FounderType Design Competition (Beijing), and GDC Award Judge (Shenzhen).
