在设计《白川町杀人事件》的封面时，我汲取了故事本身的紧张和悬疑气氛，融合了案件的密室元素。封面以灰色为基调，上面绘制了一扇半开的门，象征着向读者揭示案件未知面的入口，同时也暗示了这个案件背后隐藏的秘密和悬念。

封面的设计采用了粉色的落叶，与外封文案中“我是连梅雨期过后的阳光，都照不到的一片落叶”相呼应，不仅衬托了故事的情绪，也体现了案件中无法预测的变数和死者的无声告白。落叶散落的方式如同案件的线索一般分散和模糊，使得整个设计充满了解谜的趣味。

封面整体色彩的选择旨在营造一种压抑而神秘的氛围，粉色与灰色的对比突出了案件的突发性与悲剧色彩。书脊上细长的标题字体，以及背面简洁的文字介绍，都强调了书籍的悬疑属性，引导读者进入这个谜一样的故事。

这份封面设计是我对悬疑小说视觉诠释的尝试，旨在创造出一种即刻吸引读者目光的视觉效果。设计不仅仅在于美观，它还承载着故事情节的预期和引发读者情感的能力。我期望这个设计不只是封面，而是故事的一个重要组成部分，能够引发读者的兴趣，激发他们探索故事真相的欲望。

While crafting the cover for "The Shirakawa Town Murder Case," I sought to capture the intense suspense and enigmatic atmosphere inherent in the narrative, integrating the element of the locked-room mystery. The cover is set against a grey backdrop, featuring a partially opened door that symbolizes an invitation to readers to unveil the unknown aspects of the case and hints at the secrets and suspense hidden behind it.

The cover design incorporates pink leaves, corresponding to the dust jacket copy which poignantly reads, "I am like a fallen leaf that not even the post-rainy season sunshine can reach." This not only accentuates the emotional tone of the story but also reflects the unpredictable twists and silent confessions of the victims. The scattered placement of the leaves mirrors the dispersed and obscured clues of the case, infusing the design with an element of mystery-solving intrigue.

The overall color choice for the cover aims to create an oppressive and mysterious ambiance, with the contrast of pink against grey highlighting the suddenness and tragic nature of the case. The slender font on the spine and the succinct text on the back emphasize the book’s suspenseful nature, drawing readers into this enigmatic tale.

This cover design represents my visual interpretation of a suspense novel, designed to immediately catch the reader's eye. The design transcends aesthetics; it bears the anticipation of the plot and the capacity to evoke the reader's emotions. I hope this design is not merely a cover but an integral part of the story that piques the reader's interest and inspires their desire to uncover the truth.
