楚小投的设计灵感，正是源自那件造型独特、工艺精湛的楚国投壶礼器。它保留了青铜神兽的威仪与神秘感，头部似龙似虎，双目炯炯有神，仿佛蕴含着楚地先民对天地万物的敬畏与想象。

作为诞生于寿县这片楚文化沃土的IP，楚小投身上深深烙印着家乡的印记：身体主色调采用古朴典雅的“青铜绿”与象征尊贵的“鎏金黄”，这正是对文物本色的致敬。它的额头或鳞甲点缀着芍陂（安丰塘）的波浪纹样，象征着寿县作为“天下第一塘”滋养千年的水利文明。足爪或尾巴尖巧妙地融入了“豆腐”的洁白圆润造型，呼应寿县作为豆腐发源地的独特身份。周身点缀着简化的楚式云纹、凤鸟纹图案，流畅飘逸，尽显楚艺术的浪漫与飞扬。
