蛇在十二生肖中排行第六，十二地支里属“巳” 九时到十一时，为已时，蛇开始活跃起来，称为巳蛇。 在中国的上古神话中，人类的始祖伏羲氏和女娲氏都被刻画为人面蛇身的形象,这表明蛇是华夏文明最早的图腾之一。在华夏民族的原始崇拜中是先有蛇，再有龙，中国人常称蛇为“小龙”。

这次，我们以蛇的基础形象，和不同的主题结合，采用木刻版画的表现方式，并且对于“蛇”字采用不同的字体设计，结合传统工艺与现代审美，表达出对蛇年的美好愿望！
