纳木措具有独特的自然景观、深厚的文化底蕴和丰富的旅游资源，位于拉萨市当雄县和那曲市班戈县之间，距拉萨约240公里，湖面海拔4718米，面积2015平方公里，是西藏第二大湖泊。

湖水湛蓝如“天空之境”，四周群山草原环绕，冬季纳木措能同时看到蓝天白云、雪山冰湖的壮美景观。流域内具有丰富的生态系统，数百种动植物，包括斑头雁、野牦牛、棕熊、雪豹、藏羚羊等珍贵动物。

它是西藏三大圣湖之一，藏语、蒙古语意为“天湖”，当人们走进这块遥远而神秘的蔚蓝地方，望着那片与天空交织的无垠的蓝，远眺着念青唐古拉山，听着层层湖水波动的声音，闭上眼睛，仿佛整个世界都归于平静。

Namtso, with its unique natural landscape, profound cultural heritage and rich tourism resources, is located between Dangxiong County of Lhasa City and Bange County of Naqu City, about 240 kilometers away from Lhasa, 4718 meters above sea level, covering an area of 2015 square kilometers, and is the second largest lake in Xizang.

The lake is as blue as the "sky realm", surrounded by mountains and grasslands. In winter, Namtso can see the magnificent scenery of blue sky, white clouds, snow capped mountains, and ice lakes at the same time. The watershed has a rich ecosystem with hundreds of species of flora and fauna, including rare animals such as spotted geese, wild yaks, brown bears, snow leopards, Tibetan antelopes, etc.

It is one of the three holy lakes in Xizang, which means "Tianhu" in Tibetan and Mongolian. When people walk into this remote and mysterious blue place, look at the boundless blue interwoven with the sky, overlook Nianqing Tanggula Mountain, listen to the sound of lake water fluctuation, close their eyes, and the whole world is calm after imitating Buddhism.
