白石洲拆呀拆

城中村，一个被主流媒体称之为极具安全隐患的社会毒瘤，是如今钢筋水泥构筑的城市中仅存的社会生态湿地。它为社会兜底，包容了向下沉沦的人。白石洲位于深圳市南山区东部的沙河街道，它是深圳市区最集中最大规模的城中村，许多从外地来深圳的人都在这里有着或深或浅的生活记忆。 2018年起, 深圳市开始加速白石洲拆迁项目。当居民面临失业失学等问题时，主流媒体大肆宣传极少数居民——房东——如何通过安居房与赔款获利。这部纪录片系列记录了白石洲相关的文化工作者们的声音，描述他们自下而上的美学与生活态度。 Next to the wealthiest district locates Baishizhou, the largest urban village in Shenzhen, which has sheltered 150 thousand migrant workers, designers, new college graduates who cannot afford to live elsewhere in the city. In 2018, the Shenzhen government finally propelled the real estate developers to purge this 7.4 km² “cancer of the city” — as described in the government papers. However, the tenants were disposed of their affordable lifestyle within Baishizhou and were forced to leave the city. Some of their children had to temporarily drop out of school due to the difficulties to transfer. While the tenants called for extension or cancellation of the evictions, the mass media covered their voices by hyping how they benefit from the compensation, which was in fact only available to the landlords. This documentary short aimed to highlight the hidden voices of Baishizhou's tenants.
