海澜之家 | NEW YEAR ANIMATION

Knock-Knock Animation has created an animated short film for HLA to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, in which the rabbits return to their hometowns to deliver New Year wishes and gifts to their families and friends. 

We chose three lucky idioms related to the Year of the Rabbit to link the whole film, so that the whole film can create a unique style of rabbit blessing.

This is the visual impression of the rabbit protagonist that we imagined at the very beginning, so we used to create this visual impression first, we like this smart personality, somehow this version is very deep in our hearts.

The above version is the basic type, slightly rounding each rabbit to make it a bit fatter and 

separating the faces a bit more.

At first, the design was for a night scene, we thought it would be more atmospheric, but the client wanted a brighter and more positive visual atmosphere for Chinese New Year, so we adjusted the visual atmosphere to twilight.
