近况 Current Situation-EP Design | 2022

近况是模糊与清晰的边界，能够承受它的唯一载体即是时间。

这张迷你专辑，主要在描绘的是EVEN近一年半的生活近况，迷你专辑共收录5首单曲。

我们认为时间承载着近况所发生的一切，他是一个非常私人的概念以及体验。对于EVEN本人来说，近况是异常清晰的。而对于其他人来说，这又是一个绝对私人的领域。我们看待任何人的近况都是一个模糊的状态。

设计师在设计这张EP时，一直在思考我们应该怎样用设计的手法去实现我们提出的概念？

我们最终选择了A4透明硫酸纸，再用工作室的激光打印机，把所有的页面正反双印出来。最后，把所有的纸张装订成册，并将EVEN日常生活留下的各种物品，如登机牌、香烟盒、商场消费清单，等等，随机打包在最外层的透明充气包装里。

通过不同物料的层叠，来打破模糊与清晰的边界，通过设计中不规则的线条，来表述时间留下的痕迹。

The current situation is the boundary between blur and clarity, and the only carrier that can bear it is time.

This mini-album mainly depicts EVEN's life in the last year and a half, which contains 5 singles.

We believe that time carries everything that has happened recently and that it is a very personal concept as well as an experience. For EVEN himself, the current situation is extremely clear. For others, however, it's an absolutely private realm. Therefore, it's almost in a vague state when viewing anyone's current situation.

When designing this EP, the designers have been thinking about how we should use the design approach to realise the concept we propose?

We finally chose A4 transparent sulphate paper and used the studio's laser printer to print all the pages on both front and back sides. Finally, we bound all the pages into a booklet, packed all the items left in EVEN's daily life, such as boarding passes, cigarette boxes, consumption lists of shopping malls which are randomly wrapped in the outermost transparent inflatable packaging.

Through the layering of different materials, the border between blur and clarity is broken, and through the irregular lines of the design, the traces left by time are expressed.
