This is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Guyana, the first country in the English-speaking Caribbean to establish diplomatic ties with New China. China and Guyana have consolidated political mutual trust and made steady progress in practical cooperation. Standing at a new historical starting point, under the guidance of the two heads of state, China and Guyana should deepen strategic mutual trust, enhance converging interests, expand cooperation space, increase exchanges and mutual learning, and march together toward a bright future of common prosperity.
