There are various kinds of electronic products in our lives, but you may not know a lot about them. This project is inspired by the “Battery Protection Plan” by the Apple Company, which slows down older iPhones. However, Apple says that “We are protecting your battery”. “Planned obsolescence” is a huge waste of resources. People need the truth: You don’t need to frequently upgrade your products. The excessive consumption of young people and technology fans, the target readers of the book, has caused huge waste of resources. Therefore, the book aims to disclose “planned obsolescence” and call for a proper view on product renewal.
