Glossary of musical terms dell’arte

The book contains a number of the most commons musical terms that are likely to be encountered in printed scores and program notes, associated with a visual image. The characters of Italian comedy dell’arte represent these words.The musical terms are grouped by the sense, and each situation reflects the meaning of the words of those groups. It goes beyond music or theater, you can see the elements of the circus and everyday life here.

All illustrations in the book are hand-drawn with a simple pencil. I abandoned the color in this project to make the characters more expressive. And finally, there are no colored keys on the piano. But the heroes of the book are not too serious, they are funny and kind. I believe that they can be friends for young musicians.
