Urban Resilience Graphic Philosopher SDG 2021

Cities are the most shining spotlight in today’s era and also the core of development and discussion no matter in the classical antiquity or the future scientific world. In the design, with The Future Light as the core concept, we interpretated the conference theme of Resilient Cities.

Resilience and Resilient Cities are two of the frequently used concepts in disaster prevention and mitigation. Resilient cities refer those can absorb and quicky respond and recover from the shocks, keep running, adapt and prepare for the future crisis and shocks.

If we dig deeper from this concept and think about what is the most resilient thing in nature world, the answer would be: light. During the ever-going and tireless development of human, from 700 BC when we started to use lens till the discovery of wave-particle duality, the definition of light has been updated, describing the light as resilient, however, reflects deep abstractive consideration.
