The old age

This project originated from my fear of old age as China is facing the challenge of an aging population. Many young people started to worry about their future and even plan for retirement. I observed the elderly’s life and exploit the problems of old age based on the current situation in the aspect of health, finance, care, and illness, some were living a pleasant life and some were alone with helplessness. The series of drawings respond to the growing aging society in China and attempt to raise people’s awareness to care more about the special group of elderly.
