[Mind play] Summer plan

MIND PLAY is a series of comics and the inspiration for it came form my negative feelings and personal drama that were triggered by trivial moments and then turn into plays in my head. Rather than ignoring them, I listened to those voices and directed them into drawings. 

I explored the expressive potential of visual storytelling, reproducing subtle moments and complicated emotions in the form of narrative. This project consists of 4 short comics that cover autobiographical themes of frustration and anxiety. I used gouache and color pencil to deliver the sense of familiarity because negativity is everywhere.
