Vaporwave & Buddha-like Pop-up Exhibition

这是一个关于蒸汽波＆佛系的快闪展览项目。 在中国传统教育的主流文化中，努力上进是年轻人最熟悉、最常用的代名词。 但是很少有人告诉这些年轻人如何应对与排解在竞争激烈的社会中挣扎的痛苦和困惑。 佛系和蒸汽波作为两种怀旧的亚文化，不仅是当下社会青年人所面临负担的产物，也可以成为他们积极的心理治疗。 这两种生活态度看似是一种短期逃避压力的方式，但实际上，它们有自己独特的地方可以帮助人们更好地摆脱困境。 该项目的视觉设计包括海报、门票、宣传册、视频和装置。 以蒸气波的艺术风格为基础，以多重感官向观众诠释蒸气波与佛系艺术。

This is a pop-up exhibition project of Vaporwave & Buddha-like. In the mainstream culture of Chinese traditional education, the effort is the most familiar and common pronoun for the youth. But no one is telling these youth how to deal with the pain and confusion of struggling in a competitive society. As two nostalgic subcultures, Buddha-like and Vaporwave are not only the product of the burden faced by the youth in current society but also can become a positive mental remedy for them. Their attitude towards life seems to be a short-term way to escape pressure, but in fact, they have their own unique place to help people better out of difficulties. The visual design of this project includes posters, tickets, brochures, video and installation. Based on the artistic style of Vaporwave, it interprets the Vaporwave and Buddha-like to the audience with multiple senses.
