Chernigov – City of Legends

City in northern Ukraine, the administrative center Chernihiv region, as well as the Chernigov region. The most northern regional center of Ukraine. The historic center of the left-bank Ukraine, one of the largest cities in the Old Russian state/land. Idea based on a ball, how to close to the image of the city. Circle as concise form with the center and intersecting lines of roads. Interwoven strands - a complicated story or legend. Church – an integral architectural may part of the city; Sword – historical component; river – a natural feature; Ghost – ghost image as part of the legends in the city. Composition for the three language versions (ukrainian, russian, english), is executed on based on the Old Slavonic motives. The curved shape of the mark and font similar in character and form a complete composition.

Client: Chernigov city administration.

Task: make logo and brand assets elements.
