Sand hill

Singing sand is also called musical sand. It is a peculiar natural phenomenon that exists in many places in the world. Influenced by various climatic and geographical factors, such as wind blows, sand slides or interactions with each other, fine sand grains dominated by quartz rotate in the airflow and the surface cavities can cause "diabolo" - a buzzing sound. The place where the buzzing sound occurs is called a singing sand land.

鳴沙又叫音樂沙，它是一種奇特的卻在世界上普遍存在的自然現象。沙漠或者沙丘中，由於各種氣候和地理因素的影響，造成以石英為主的細沙粒，因風吹震動，沙滑落或相互運動，眾多沙粒在氣流中旋轉，表面空洞造成“空竹”效應發生嗡嗡響聲的地方稱為鳴沙地。
