舞韵 Logo Design

舞韵 is a new age dance school and online dance tutorial provider. The core concept of the school is finding your inner being, making peace with it! Their vision is an amazing combination of dance therapy and contemporary techniques. Beauty, exploration, movement, flow, peace, style, all of these are in the core of their branding. So, for their logo concept I wanted to do something heavy, unlike my usual logo designs which are the most simplistic in style! As they wanted to break rules and stand out, I wanted their logo to shout that out.

So, I went for this design that is dynamic, which gives you an urge to move with it, yet gentle in color. The end result was, a dancer dancing and her movements are creating flowing clouds (as the name of the school resembles it). I created a 3D space using shaded layers which gives the feeling of depth within the logo. But the most important thing is, the logo is using negative space to create all these! The dancer in herself is created out of the negative space, who is becoming a part of the flow!

The logo gives you the feeling: "I can create magical clouds in nothingness, and I am a part of it!"
