Misophonia

Introduction

This project is about Misophonia – hatred of sound, proposed in 2000 as a condition in which negative emotions, thoughts, and physical reactions are triggered by specific sounds. I got this idea from my personal experience (the noise hand-dryer made are always drive me crazy), and these news and articles also got me realized that this abstract weird thing which more and more people suffered from is already became a serious disorder worthy of social attention. Therefore, I want to help people understand the existence of Misophonia through the form of graphic novel, and at the same time make people who don't have this problem feel the same. Words used as visual elements is also what I want achieved in this book, not only promote the development of the plot, the text has also become a kind of tool, the abstract objects to better noise performance, this kind of more direct, more readable than the image, in the form of visual wallop more, also need more time to find the right balance and experiment.
