Limit Fruit Waste-App Design

Introduction

My design proposition is to design a mobile application is called ‘Lvfruit’ to limit fruit waste. The target audience is the families with children households in urban areas of Sydney. The stakeholders are the families, the NSW Health Department, the NSW Food Authority as well as my own company. This app is for responding to SDGs 12, ‘Sustainable Consumption and Production’.

‘Lvfruit’ is an user-friendly app, which provides several interrelated functions for helping users to consume purchased fruits actively, and inbuilt fruit learning program allows users to access fruit quality knowledge and fruit recipes in a more practical way.

In the long term, the design is sustainable to limit fruit waste, which the family users will have the ability in assessing fruit quality in the dynamic fruit conditions to avoid fruit going to bad, and they would have learned many fruit recipes practically to form a more healthy more diverse diet pattern.
