Abstract

"OH PERIOD——A brief analysis of the visualization of menstrual culture " The objective of the design is to appeal to the public to understand and tolerate the physiological phenomenon of menstruation. Based on the objective foundation of menstruation culture and the theoretical knowledge of art and design, the research is carried out from the perspective of the author as a woman and in combination with the research on the status of menstruating women. By presenting the situation of female menstruation in a visual way, establishing a main visual image to scientifically explain menstruation and make it more acceptable to the public, and interspersing the cultural history of menstruation in ancient and modern China and foreign countries as the content. It is hoped that the design can make people feel that menstruation is a natural thing, worthy of respect and tolerance, and can be faced with a positive attitude naturally.

This design report elaborates the design idea of this design and the design process of continuous improvement. Through the graduation design and the design of the authors of the report, the author deeply feel the power of visual communication, through in-depth and subject to further complete the final overall design, with the method of multidimensional, in traditional graphic design, add the content of the 3 d, and make the works more vivid, can stereoscopic display in front of the public, in order to convey more information. It makes it easier for people to accept the views and attitudes expressed by the author.

在这个世界上，大约有一半的人口经历过，正在经历，或者即将经历经期，也有将近一半的人出身于女性生殖器。月经作为女性生活中的一个重要组成部分,对整个社会都具有重大的意义和研究的价值。因此本次的毕业设计通过多个3D元素来代表月经文化，意在反映处于经期的女性的现状，以小见大，通过一系列形象设计，从而引起大家对传统观念的反思。也希望能够引起全社会的重视，为处在经期的女性发声。
