This is a stamp project.

The requirement is to create a fictional artist.

Use the artwork of this artist to create 4 stamps

along with a collector sheet and first-day issue cover.

The theme is a daydream, and I wrote a poem for it.

The name of the artist is Rachel Jane Simpson, it refers to my

love for the animation "The Simpsons".

Rachel Janes Simpson was born in 1948 in new york. Her parents were both teachers.

She had a lovely life until the age of 10. In 1958 she was on a trip with parents and they were in a fatal car accident. She lost her beloved father and lived alone with her devastated mother. Without the love from her dearest father, she was in sorrow for a long time and then gradually found her love in the children's books. she always tried to imagine herself in different characters, living different happy lives. She found peace and love in these sweet children's stories. When she was 20, she decided to be an illustrator for children's books. she wanted to share love and courage with kids who might suffer the same tragedy she had. When she was 22, she wrote the poem "Singing in the Dream" and produced an illustration of it which made her noticed by media. she devoted all her life to creating the intriguing and fantastic picture books for children. " Carrying the love in your heart and trying every possibility you might encounter in life", as she always believed,

her illustrated books have always been the bestsellers.

Singing in the dream,

the shining stars and planets started to appear,

the shimmering jellyfishes started to float around,

the time started to melt, and the colorful flowers started to bloom,

the big smile crawled on my face.

Oh! I wish I could sing in the dream forever.
