To meet the demands of different families’ dietary preferences. The brand FengFan Farm launched three new products: white, black and brown rice. The design wants to indicate the trendy, youthful aspect of the brand by using simple and bright packaging design.
By researching and analyzing the products, we found out that when a rice bag weights 5kg, most consumers will choose to carry the product in their arms, to avoid the discomfort caused by carrying with handles. At the same time, 5kg is a comfortable weight and size for carrying with arms. This inspired the packaging design to be a baby-shaped rice bag. The baby faces on the rice bags are transparent, so the different typed rice can not only give the babies different skin tones, also helps the customers to differentiate products.
This distinctive outlook increased the intimacy between the product and the people, at the same time, made an ordinary rice bag more entertaining and visually appealing to the customers.
