嵌瓷 《白·羽》 陈旭南异嵌瓷作品
t’s a story of how life transcand from tangible to intangible. Pieces of mirror, porcelain shards, and cranes on the top, signify the perishment and regeneration of life, delivering a benediction for the passage towards nirvana.
作品讲述生命从有形到无形的升华的故事。从镜片到瓷片的转化至顶部的的鹤纹,象征生命的幻灭、重生以及对通往极乐的祝福。
This work is created with a traditional craft of porcelain inlay in Chaoshan, that involves breaking and recombining, resembling the transformation of a lifeform to another. In my homeland, a religious rites commemorating an ancestor would begin with the presentation of a paper crane, symbolizing that he/she is starting a journey to heaven. White porcelain shards and mirrors are used here, seeking to tell the story in a pure and simple way. The mirrors at the bottom gradually turn into white porcelain then into the cranes, a metaphor of the sublimation of mortal life to an invisible form.
本次创作使用的创作手法是潮汕的嵌瓷,它是一种打破重组的艺术,这如同一个生命转变成另一个形态。在我们的故乡,先人的功德法会上开场会以一个纸仙鹤送帖的形式开始,仿佛她开始了升天之路。本次使用的白色瓷片、镜子来进行创作,力图用一种纯粹简单的语言来讲述这个故事。作品从底部的镜片,逐渐变换成白色瓷片再到顶部的鹤纹,就像一个生命从有形到无形的升华。
