6月28日-7月30日，艺术家大橘子个展——“心爱的玩具”，在北京市朝阳区798艺术区价值空间 𝙞𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 Gallery举办。展览现场展出大橘子最新画作、陶艺作品，一个个形象可爱又治愈。此外，还有大美术馆限时快闪店，以及美味的特调饮料咖啡可现场体验。

Do you remember your favorite toy!
在模糊的儿时印象中，我曾经拥有过一只粉红色的小象，时不时就会“啃咬”它。后来通过家里人的确认和几张不太清晰的照片证实，确有其事。作为一个玩具收藏爱好者，有一段时间我尝试到各种地方去寻找，希望能找到一只和模糊记忆中相匹配的小象。寻找的过程和我以往收藏其他玩具的心境非常不同——美术形式、玩具作者、生产年代都变得不重要了，我只想找到那个能与童年重新连接上的物件。
通过这段寻找的过程，我突然意识到，我在生活中一直在以各种理由买玩具、收藏玩具，甚至现在还在设计和生产玩具，我的人生从未与玩具分开过。
人为什么需要玩具啊？为什么一辈子都需要玩具啊？年近中年的我，这才回头开始问这些问题。
网络上的资料显示：玩具作为“过渡客体”（温尼科特理论），当真实的养育者缺席（情感忽视/创伤）时，儿童会将毛绒玩具等拟人化，投射对温暖、安全的需求……等等。
这样的科学解释当然还有很多，甚至细致到大脑活动方式，比如：拥抱安抚型玩具时，大脑激活的区域是前扣带回皮层，产生的代偿效应是降低恐惧反应……诸如此类。
但这样的解释对我来说生硬如石。我更愿意把玩具理解为人们生命中最美好时光所形成的琥珀——儿时那份纯粹的美好，被时间的滤镜包裹着。所以，当我们在严肃的工作与生活环境中放上一只小可爱的玩具，它会让人放松，也许你会看着它心中一笑。它在提醒你：我必须保有一份幼稚，不能完全与这个逻辑至上的成人世界为伍。
最后，我想引用我和 Deepseek 一次关于玩具话题讨论中的总结：“成年人的玩具柜，最终将成为未来人类学家的焦点考古现场——那些落满灰尘的塑料小人不会说话，却保存着整个时代的精神病理切片。也许我们最终会明白，真正需要被修复的，从来不是玩具，而是与自己脆弱共处的勇气。”

Information on the internet suggests that toys are “transitional objects” (Winnicott's theory), and that when the real nurturer is absent (emotional neglect/trauma), children will anthropomorphize stuffed toys, projecting a need for warmth, safety, etc.... ⋯And so on.
There are of course many other scientific explanations, even down to brain activity, behavior: hugging soothing toys, brain activation area: anterior cingulate gyrus cortex, compensatory effect: lowering the fear response... and so on!
But such an explanation I feel hard as a rock, I prefer to understand the toys of adults in the life of the most beautiful and beautiful time to form the amber, the pure beauty of childhood, wrapped in a layer of time filters, so because of the serious work and life environment to put a small cute toys, it will allow people to relax, you may look at it heart smile, it is reminding you: I must be childish, can not be with the adult world of this logic! It reminds you that I have to be childish, not to be part of this logical adult world.

陈思又名大橘子，艺术家，1983年生于天津，曾旅居美国，期间举办了《What do you say》个人艺术展，回国后与作家东东枪合作出版了绘本诗集《拿不动的世界》并举办了同名插画艺术展，为影视明星陈坤的《鬼水瓶录》绘制插画，后出版了个人插画集《宇宙再大大不过我和你》、《为什么是兔子》以及《艺术会让我们更爱这个世界吗》大艺术家系列绘本。
2019年在北京创办独立画廊“大美术馆”，以此作为品牌设计生产了包括“大艺术家”等系列的艺术衍生品，并一直在举办各种类型的艺术展。

Big Orange（Chen Si），Born in 1983 in Tianjin，an artist who once resided in the United States, held his solo art exhibition What Do You Say during his time abroad. Upon returning to China, he collaborated with writer Dong Dong Qiang to publish the illustrated poetry collection The Unholdable World, followed by an art exhibition of the same title. He also created illustrations for actor Chen Kun’s book Ghost Water Jar Chronicles. Later, he published his own illustrated collections, including The Universe Isn’t Bigger Than You and Me ;Why Rabbits? and the Great Artist Series picture book Will Art Make Us Love This World More?
In 2019, he founded the independent gallery “Big Gallery” in Beijing. Under this brand, he designs and produces art derivatives such as the Great Artist Series, while continuously organizing diverse art exhibitions.
